If you're anything like us, you're probably so over the unicorn trend that has taken over Facebook and Instagram newsfeeds in the past couple of weeks. We get it, the frappuccinos at Starbucks make for one hella Insta photo, complete with hundreds of likes, but, ladies! There's officially a new trend on the rise: rose-quartz nails. And we guarantee you'll be scheduling a manicure appointment stat after you ogle these beauties.
The mastermind behind the trend, Jamie Paige, wanted to put a spin on the marble nails she's seen all over the place, so she created a millennial pink-quartz manicure to swoon over, according to Glamour. Although it may look tricky to master, Paige swears you can do it at home. "After painting on a sheer pink 'marble' color," she told the site, "take a thin brush and sketch on lines in white polish. Dip the brush in nail polish remover, and blend out the edges for that cloudy marble effect. Top with a coat of pink for that authentic, marble-encased look."
For brides looking for wedding-day nails that aren't your typical "ballet slippers" hue, we think this trend really hits the nail on the head. As for the crystal's calming effects, we're not sure if nail polish disguised as a natural element can heal your wedding-day woes. But, hey, it sure does look pretty! And maybe that's enough to take you from anxious bridezilla to chill AF chick in a wedding dress. Never underestimate the power of freshly painted nails, ladies. Never.
