"We've been dating for four years. The days leading up to the proposal he kept telling me that we’re going to take fall photos because we haven’t had any professional photos in a while. The day of the “fall photo shoot” I had three change of outfits planned for our “fall shoot” (yes a little bit crazy). We took an uber to Lake Michigan in Chicago, IL. As we were walking the lake front, I saw this huge opened wooden structure and I said to him “oh look someone is getting engaged". The moment I knew that this was for me was when I saw it in his eyes. And so, he got down on one knee and asked if I’d marry him!" — Kathy Mai
"Justin and I started dating on May 11, 2013 and ever since then we decided that we would celebrate us and do date night on the 11th of every month. Earlier that week, he had a vendor email me and his father Eric about a meeting with a potential client at this venue. Of course we agreed. Little did I know! I had Eric pick me up because after the meeting Justin and I had plans to go to dinner to celebrate our 3.5 year anniversary, or so I thought! Once we arrived at the venue, we met up with Chris, the owner of St. Maurice's Church, and he told us they were waiting inside. They both opened the doors and there I saw Justin, standing at the alter with candles and rose petals all around! It was a picture perfect moment! When I got up there he began to tell me why he chose this location to propose to me and that is because 42 years ago my parents were married on that very same alter and years before then my grandparents were too. When he knelt down to ask me to marry him and I said yes a huge cheer came from the back of the church — our parents and siblings were hiding and watching the whole thing take place! This was just icing on the cake to this already perfect proposal. After the proposal the surprises kept coming! We went to a place where all of our family and friends were waiting to celebrate with us. This was truly the best night of my life!" — Robyn Sedgebeer
"Justin proposed to me in the sweetest way when he whisked me away to Sonora Resort, a beautiful island off the Canadian west coast, in a helicopter. He hired a photographer and was sneaky in tricking me to believe it was a photo shoot in honor of our 2-year dating anniversary. In the middle of our photoshoot, we found an amazing inlet of water and climbed down to the rocks during low tide. In a moment of pure serenity with the majestic mountains surrounding us, we felt like the only two people in the world and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes in a heartbeat and am so excited to begin our adventure as husband and wife." — Jill
"We've dated for almost 7 years and we were hosting our annual Friendsgiving in our new home and while we were "taking a group picture" I turned around and he was on one knee in front of all our friends." — Kristin Buck
"We met on the first day of middle school and after 10 years of adventures, long distance summers, graduations, and accomplishments, we found ourselves at Sunset Terrace at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville. Following dinner, as the sun was setting over the mountains, Kevin wanted to take a picture. We stood and smiled and then he moved away. When I turned he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him!" — Krista
