Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Step Out for First Time as a Married Couple

Spot Nick's wedding ring!

Updated 12/03/18

If you thought Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra would emerge after their extravagant three-day wedding sporting hangovers and baseball hats, think again. The couple, of course, made their first appearance as a married pair looking just as glamorous and put together as they looked in the few wedding shots that have been shared.

Chopra and Jonas were seen on Monday leaving Jodphur—the town in Rajasthan where they were wed in the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace—en route to Delhi (for another wedding reception) dressed to the nines. Chopra sported a teal green and golden embroidered Sabyasachi sari with matching sleeveless blouse and accessorized with her fresh wedding mehendi (henna tattoos), red and white bangles, and Bonnie Clyde cat-eye sunglasses. She wore her hair straight, and traditional for new Indian brides, applied bright red Sindoor powder to her hair part. Jonas, meanwhile, wore a Ermenegildo Zegna Couture khaki jacket and trousers, according to Vogue and accessorized with Westward Leaning sunglasses and his new gold wedding band. Clips of the couple, posted by fan accounts on social media, show Jonas holding his new wife protectively as they walk through the crowd—at one point he also gazes upon Chopra and says "I love you." We're more surprised the couple has the energy to get dolled up yet again, considering just how amazing the two looked over the weekend while celebrating their nuptials—which were said to cost more than $500,000 and included a cricket match; a Sangeet, a song and dance competition, ; a fireworks show; and lavish welcome gifts for the guests.

While neither have shared photos from their Christian or Hindu ceremony, both have shared several shots from their Mehendi ceremony, including one in which Chopra, wearing a colorful Khosla Jani number, laughs as Nick smiles next to her. "One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehndi,"said Jonas in a caption shared with images on Instagram. "Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations the way we both dreamed."
