Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas seem to be right on track with the old saying "first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage."
In a new interview with E! News on Tuesday night, Chopra revealed that she feels like she has some catching up to do now that many of her friends are starting families. “I just have a few of my friends who are having babies right now and I’m like, ‘God, I need to catch up!’” she said, referring to pal Meghan Markle's recently announced pregnancy.
According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, Chopra and Jonas “keep talking about starting a family together,” but it won't be happening just yet. “They are going to wait till after the wedding to start trying,” the insider added. “But it’s definitely on the agenda.”
First, though, they've got a wedding to plan. And that agenda includes a melding of Chopra's Indian culture with Jonas's Western one. “The wedding is coming soon and they really want to blend wedding traditions from both of their cultures that are important to them,” a source told Us Weekly. "Priyanka is having a really good time planning the wedding because it’s a mix of Indian and American styles and customs, which she knows so much about.”
While there's no word when the wedding will actually take place, the couple is clearly very excited for what's ahead. On Wednesday, Jonas took to Instagram to post a photo of him and Chopra to Instagram with the caption, "When the future looks oh so bright... 😎."
... Bright with babies, that is!
