Always a bridesmaid, never a—well, actually, that phrase definitely does not apply to Princess Eugenie. The 28-year-old royal is currently planning a wedding of her very own, after announcing her engagement to Jack Brooksbank back in January. With the wedding date and venue already set (Friday, October 12 at St. George's Chapel—be there!), Princess Eugenie is officially a bride-to-be. But that doesn't mean she's forgotten about her stint as a bridesmaid. Princess Eugenie just took to her Instagram account to share photographic evidence of the time she and her sister, Princess Beatrice, served as itty bitty bridesmaids in a 1990s wedding. This throwback photo is so cute, it's curing our post-royal wedding depression.

Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding last month, we've been craving another taste of royally related nuptials. Luckily, even though her own wedding is still months away, Princess Eugenie delivered. Putting her Instagram account to good use—she's the only young royal with a personal Instagram page!—Eugenie posted an old photograph of herself and her sister as tiny tots serving as young bridesmaids. Town and Country reports that the very '90s wedding (pouffy dresses and all!) was the ceremony of Eugenie and Beatrice's former nanny, Alison Wardley, and her husband, Ben Dady, at St. Chad's Church in Withington, Manchester.

"90s planning starts!!" Eugenie captioned the precious pic. Can we take that to mean that Eugenie is getting down to the nitty gritty of planning her upcoming royal wedding? Here's hoping! We're dying to know the details of the guest list, as Eugenie happens to run in a very A-list social circle, counting celebs like Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne as personal pals. And we can't wait to see what tiara Eugenie chooses for her walk down the aisle. (Perhaps it'll be her mother's York tiara?) And of course, we're also looking forward to seeing the young bridal party members who'll join the bride and groom for their walk down the aisle. We definitely hope Princess Charlotte and Prince George make the cut. They've already had plenty of practice!
