Princess Charlotte has officially won cutest big sister of the year award (well, there wasn't a competition, but if there was, she would have won.)
Earlier this evening, Kensington Palace posted a picture of the princess and her new baby brother, Louis, sharing an adorable moment together.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by the Duchess at Kensington Palace," they wrote in their Instagram caption alongside a photo of the three-year-old kissing her new baby brother. "This image was taken on 2nd May, on Princess Charlotte’s third birthday. The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday."
The super sweet shot on Charlotte’s birthday shows the big sister holding her baby brother in her arms as she kissed her new sibling on the forehead. Before this photo, Louis has only been seen once before, in a shot following his birth outside of the hospital on April 26, three days after he was born on April 23.
Shortly after the first shot was posted, a solo image of Prince Louis was shared on the Palace's Instagram account. The post had the same caption, but featured a close-up picture of baby Louis in all of his glory.
The royal family has not released much more information about the new royal family member, but we can expect to see a lot more from the tiniest Prince soon. In the mean time, we'll take the pictures you're posting, Kensington Palace! Keep them coming.
