On Sunday, the royal family released Prince Louis's official christening photos, giving you four adorable looks at Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and their extended family right after the tiniest Windsor got baptized. As if those weren't cute enough, People caught an awww-worthy detail hidden in plain sight in one of the pics. The outlet points out that in the second photo, featuring William, Kate, and their kids, as well as Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Charles and Camilla Bowles, Princess Charlotte can be seen holding Prince Louis's hand and smiling at him while everyone else looks to the camera.
This isn't the three-year-old princess's only protective big-sis moment from the christening, which took place last Monday. As seen in a video by Newsweek, while making her way to the ceremony with her parents and brothers, Princess Charlotte appeared to tell photographers "You're not coming." (At least she didn't stick out her tongue during the photoshoot, as she's wont to do.)
Meanwhile, the royal family has released yet another sweet photo from the christening on the official Kensington Palace Instagram. Being less than three months old, Prince Louis has mostly been snapped in photos sleeping or looking up at his mother. In the photo uploaded on Monday, though, the newly baptized royal can be seen laughing at something out of frame while the Duchess of Cambridge beams in the same direction.
It was no doubt a great shot for photographer Matt Porteous, who later uploaded the photo on his own Instagram with the caption, "Moments like these 'It was an honour and a privilege to photograph the christening of Prince Louis' #princelouis @kensingtonroyal"
