Life as a new parent is exhausting—even (or maybe, especially?) when you're Prince William.

The new dad, who welcomed his third child on Monday, was spotted dozing off in the middle of an official outing, and someone caught the whole hilarious episode on camera. While seated on the pulpit next to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at the Anzac Day memorial services at Westminster Abbey, William was having a tough time keeping his eyes open. A cameraman zoomed in on the prince (and Markle, who seemed to be totally oblivious to the quick nap happening beside her), revealing a very, very sleepy royal.

The struggle of being a new dad is real, people.

For anyone who's keeping count, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now have three royal rugrats under age five running around Kensington Palace. That, on top of all of the duties that come along with being second in line to inherit the British throne, sounds exhausting. It's no wonder he needed to take a little snooze!

Kate Middleton gave birth to the littlest prince on Monday in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London, per the couple's extensive birth plan. While the baby's name is still under wraps, oddsmakers called "James" and "Arthur" as the frontrunners. Shortly after the birth, Kensington Palace took to Twitter to announce the good news, and shared that both mother and child were doing well.

With what's bound to be a whirlwind month ahead of him, Prince William could likely use all the sleep he can get. Not only is the May 19 royal wedding less than a month away, but Prince Harry just announced that his older brother would serve as his best man. Hopefully the dad of three can find a way to stay awake for the bachelor party!
