Wedding nerves can take a toll on any groom (and bride, obviously), whether heir to a throne or not. But it seems Prince Harry may have let his big day get to him a little too much. (In his defense, it's fairly understandable considering half the world would be watching him say "I do.")

According to an excerpt via the Daily Mail, from the book Charles at Seventy: Thoughts, Hopes and Dreams by royal biographer Robert Jobson, the Duke of Sussex felt a bit...tense, to say the least, before his May 19 wedding. Exhibit A: An inside source described him as "petulant and short-tempered" toward royal staff members leading up to the big day.

In fact, the groom apparently even threw a bit of a pre-wedding tantrum. Reportedly, on several occasions, Prince Harry would raise his voice and exclaim, "What Meghan wants, she gets!" Oh, royalty.

But perhaps in an effort to dispose of their nuptial-invoked jitters (and potentially prevent more outbursts), Jobson notes that the couple booked several acupuncture appointments before the ceremony "with Ross Barr, known as 'the acupuncturist to the stars.' "

The sessions seem to have paid off for Meghan, who remained cool as a cucumber while walking down the aisle, accompanied halfway by her father-in-law, Prince Charles. Jobson was quick to point out that Harry, on the other hand, "was almost shaking with tension" as he "whispered ‘Thanks, Pa' " and stood beside his bride.

Thankfully, royal wedding fans were more fixated on Harry's subtle tear-wiping throughout the ceremony and attempting to lip-read his adorable exchanges with his new bride. Overall, we'd chalk his wedding day demeanor up as a huge success.

Moral of the story: May we never, EVER forget that, "What Meghan wants, she gets!" Here's hoping that this rings true during her pregnancy as well, just minus any yelling and overwhelming stress on Harry's part.
