How do you close out a year that has involved a royal wedding, a royal baby announcement, being crowned a Duchess and being crowned a fashion darling? With a little vacation time, of course.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly celebrating a landmark year with a secret New Year's Eve vacation. The Express reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have "quietly flown away" to enjoy some rest and relaxation prior to the birth of their baby in spring 2019. (The press wasn't made aware of the trip beforehand, making it that much more secretive.) The timing seems perfect for a babymoon, considering Meghan will be heading into her third trimester any day and will likely soon limit all traveling.

While the location of their holiday hasn't been revealed, The Express notes that the couple spent last new year's eve "partying in Monaco." The couple may have returned to the area to kick off 2019—but considering Harry has reportedly given up alcohol in solidarity with his pregnant wife, their return trip to Monte Carlo is likely a much less rowdy affair.

Before jetting off on their vacation, Harry and Meghan spent the holidays with the rest of the Mountbatten-Windsors at the queen's Sandringham estate. Pictures from Christmas showed the newlywed pair attending church services alongside Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Charles. And the Fab 4 reportedly also spent quality time playing Scrabble and other "quiz-based" games. Seems like a perfect time to us!

While Kensington Palace has not yet revealed the exact due date of Harry and Meghan's baby, Markle has been dropping a few hints of late. On Tuesday, she reportedly said "we're nearly there" when asked if she was excited about becoming a mom. And earlier this month, the Duchess joked about her baby bump, telling residents of a nursing home, "I'm looking very pregnant today!"
