Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have tied the knot, it seems the 33-year-old groom has added a new line to his résumé (or should we say CV?): stylist. According to the Daily Mail, Markle is always happy to have her new husband help curate her royal wardrobe. "He gives his views on what he thinks looks best, rather than helping her follow royal protocol on hemlines or anything like that," a source tells the Daily Mail. "The joke is that Harry is Meghan’s surprise stylist."
After the bride wore a custom Stella McCartney gown—a simple white halter-top gown—to one of her wedding receptions, the British designer has apparently been called on many times to craft looks for the new royal's upcoming engagements, with Harry's input on sartorial choices. "The special projects team at Stella McCartney are working on a few more outfits for Meghan, and Harry always comes to design meetings and fittings to give his opinions on the looks," a source said. If this news is true, the dynamic duo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already made plenty of splashes with their fashion choices.
No word yet on how Harry fits into Markle's other stylist team. The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly previously worked with best friend Jessica Mulroney to transition from actress to royal. And Mulroney reportedly still coordinates designer outfit deliveries to Kensington Palace and even picked out the white wrap coat and green dress that Markle wore in her engagement announcement photos.
Whether or not Prince Harry has been serving as Markle's husband-cum-stylist, he certainly has been helping his new bride through the royal protocols. At Trooping the Colour, a video surfaced in which Markle is allegedly seen asking Harry if she should curtsy along with the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, and Harry discreetly replies "yes" just in time. Clearly, having Prince Harry as your husband pays off.
