The couple, who are coming up on their first wedding anniversary, have been busy preparing to move into a new home together, and of course are getting ready to welcome their first royal baby. But despite all of their exciting news and busy travels, the two have still managed to make time to say thank you to their fans. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent out sweet thank you cards to all of their fans who had sent them holiday presents and well wishes, which featured an adorable shot of Meghan Markle holding an umbrella for Prince Harry as he made a speech in the rain during their royal tour.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex thank you for the very kind message you sent for Christmas," the back of the card read. "This was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send their best wishes for Christmas, and for the New Year."
They royal parents-to-be recently shared that they're expecting their little one, whose sex has yet to be revealed, sometime in April 2019. While mingling with members of the crowd during an outing, the duchess told one woman that she was six months along. Meanwhile, they're currently in the midst of their move to Frogmore Cottage on Queen Elizabeth II's Windsor Estate "as they prepare for the arrival of their first child," Kensington Palace revealed in November 2018.
"Windsor is a very special place for their royal highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate," the palace said at the time. "The Duke and Duchess's official office will continue to be based at Kensington Palace."
The lesson? No matter how busy they are, the royal couple still finds time to thank their fans.
