Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Pre-Wedding Plans Are Surprisingly Low-Key

Three weeks until the big day!

The past few months have been quite the whirlwind for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. After announcing their engagement last November, the lovebirds quickly pegged their wedding date and venue, and on top of planning their nuptials in under six months, the duo has had quite the booked schedule with their lengthy lineup of royal appearances. So, with only three weeks until the May 19 wedding, we all know we'll be stocking up on our Prince Harry and Markle gear, but how will the soon-to-be-married pair spend their time?

It seems that the couple have finalized their wedding plans, because for the next three weeks, they will be doing...nothing. In fact, these two will enjoy a well-deserved break from public events until the big day. Kensington Palace's calendar allows you to check up on the royals and their upcoming events (who knew!?), and Prince Harry currently has nothing on deck leading up to the wedding.

Recently, Markle and Harry made appearances at the Anzac Day memorial services, which honor the Australian and New Zealand military from World War II; Queen Elizabeth II's 92nd birthday celebrations (long live the Queen!); the Invictus Games reception in Sydney; and the Women’s Empowerment event as part of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting. And this only covers the last two weeks.

Harry and Markle will also reportedly embark on a pre-honeymoon trip to Greece in early May to de-stress before they say I do. The itinerary is under wraps, but it's rumored that the couple will first fly into Corfu, then make their way to the Greek island of Zakynthos via yacht (casual) for a day. They're also expected to check out a few spots among the Ionian islands along the way. This little R&R getaway seems to be just what the royal doctor ordered. There's no telling when or where the royal newlyweds will jet off for their actual honeymoon, but they're definitely setting the bar high.

Planning a royal wedding in such a short amount of time is probably stressful enough to raise anyone's blood pressure, so we're glad Harry and Meghan will enjoy some time off before the big day. While we'll miss gaining outfit inspo from Markle during her royal engagements, this gives us the mental capacity to handle the debut of her most anticipated look of all—her wedding dress!
