Pippa Middleton's potential ring bearer and your favorite heir to the British throne, Prince George, turned 3 today, and Kensington Palace released the cutest pictures of the tiny royal on Instagram to commemorate his big day.
The photos, taken by photographer Matt Porteous, were taken a few weeks ago at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's house in Norfolk, and feature Prince George walking through the grounds in an adorable whale sweater, feeding ice cream to their dog Lupo, and swinging on a wooden swing with his parent's names carved into it. The social media posts also came with messages from the royal palace and Porteous about the photo shoot.
"The Duke and Duchess hope that people will enjoy seeing these new photographs," a quote from the Kensington Palace spokesperson reads. "They would like to thank everyone for all the lovely messages they have received as Prince George celebrates his third birthday."
"I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere," the message from Porteous reads. "I'm honoured that they have decided to share these images with the public to mark his third birthday."
In addition to his stylish photoshoot, the future king of England will be having a tea party at his parent's country home in Anmer Hall to continue celebrating his birthday, according to People.
There is no official word on whether or not Prince George and his younger sister, Princess Charlotte, will be a part of his aunt Pippa Middleton's upcoming wedding next year, but it is hard to imagine any other kids being her ring bearer and flower girl. We're sure that she'll find a place for all of the royals to play a part in her wedding to fiancé James Matthews. If by some surprise Prince George doesn't land the role of ring bearer, these birthday photos prove that he could always snag a job as a catalogue model for J. Crew kids!
