Plain White T's drummer Tim Lopez was ready for love when he went on the quickly-cancelled 2012 reality show aptly dubbed, Ready for Love, and that's exactly what he found in now-wife Jenna Reeves. The two tied the knot on July 4 like many other celebs, in an elegant-meets-vintage-meets-slightly-patriotic celebration at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.
Their gorgeous California nuptials was planned by none other than Lopez's sister Kaitlin and mom Colette, who own La Fete Weddings. Going with a neutral color palette that featured blue accents, Reeves told People of the experience that, "It was such a blessing because I didn't even know where to start." They also had some eccentric elements like string lights and an oversized teepee!
As for Reeve's dress, which she dubs "elegant, vintage and classic," she got it at none other than David's Bridal. "I looked at a few boutique shops and found nothing that felt right. When I tried this one on, I had that moment where I looked in the mirror and saw a bride. The dress was relatively inexpensive as far as wedding dresses go but I wasn't concerned with brand names, I just wanted to feel comfortable and beautiful when walking down the aisle toward him."
The key, for Reeves, was finding something comfortable: "I wanted it to be lightweight so that I could move around comfortably and dance the night away, which we did!"
Same for Tim, who couldn't ever see himself wearing a tux. "Jenna and I didn't want to abandon who we are when it came to the style and attire for our wedding — hence I wasn't going to be caught dead in a tuxedo!" he explained.
And it wouldn't be a Fourth of July wedding without some Americana goods! The couple had a flag on hand for pictures.
