Has it already been two months since Pippa Middleton and James Matthews tied the knot? It feels like just yesterday we were fawning over the bride's gorgeous gown and waiting for Meghan Markle to arrive on the arm of Prince Harry. And, judging by that newlywed glow she's still rocking, it seems like just yesterday for Middleton, too! She and her new hubby just attended their first public event as Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, and of course they looked picture-perfect. (Big surprise there, right?)
On Tuesday, June 27, Middleton and Matthews headed to London's Bunga Bunga Covent Garden, an event space that was hosting The Miles Frost Fund party, a charity soirée to raise research funds for a rare genetic heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, according to Entertainment Tonight. There, the newlyweds made their first public appearance as married couple, looking ever bit as in love as the day they said "I do."
For her date night, Middleton paired her post-honeymoon tan with a blush pink jumpsuit with an asymmetric ruffle across the bodice, ruby red pumps, and a heart-shaped clutch—perfect for the heart research fundraiser and to show us exactly how she feels about her hubs! Standing by his wife's side, Matthews kept things classic in a gray jacket, a pale blue button down, and navy slacks.
Middleton and Matthews reportedly returned to London just this week after jetting off on a multi-city honeymoon. After their May 20 wedding, the couple headed to the romantic French Polynesia islands, including Tetiaroa—a two-and-a-half square mile necklace of coral islets that surround a crystal-blue lagoon. There, Pippa and James soaked up the sun at the Brando resort, where the dreamy villas feature private decks overlooking the white sand beaches, infinity plunge pools, and outdoor baths. Then a tour of Australia was next on the itinerary, after which the newlyweds headed to Sweden to attend the wedding of the Middletons' family friend, Jöns Bartholdson, to Anna Ridderstad.
Looks like married life is agreeing with these two quite nicely.
