In April 2011, Kate Middleton tied the knot with Prince William in a ceremony that millions watched around the world. Middleton — now the Duchess of Cambridge — stunned as she walked down the long, crimson carpet to Westminster Abbey, trailed by her maid-of-honor sister, Pippa. And while some claimed Pippa's white, form fitting gown stole the spotlight away from her big sister's big day, it was inarguable that the two made a stunning pair. (Both dressed in Alexander McQueen, no less).
But 20 years before the royal wedding, the beloved sisters teamed up as bridesmaids for their uncle Gary Goldsmith's wedding stealing the spotlight away from another bride. The video unearthed by The Daily Mail shows the girls—Kate was 9, Pippa was 7—dressed in matching pink dresses and flower crowns. Kate gives the camera lots of smiles a few waves (practicing for becoming a princess, perhaps?) while Pippa, like most 7 year olds, looks like she'd rather be anywhere else.
This video is proof that, even as children, the Middleton sisters were destined to become wedding stars. See the sweet footage, below.
At Kate Middleton and Prince William's own nuptials, the couple said their vows flanked by their siblings, Pippa and Prince Harry, and a few child bridesmaids of their own.
Pippa was engaged to fiancé James Matthews in July 2016. And though she has been rather silent on any wedding details, we're guessing the sisters will once again make a beautiful duo walking down the wedding aisle.
