Covert Affairs star Piper Perabo married her longtime love, Stephen Kay, in New York City yesterday. And while her New Orleans-fashion affair called for a good dose of pomp and circumstance, her silver-spotted dress and yellow (yes, yellow) veil is what really caught everyone's attention.
Her wedding day look is extremely modern and unique, to say the least. The semi-sheer, long-sleeve, silver sheath is actually an animal print, and, People StyleWatch is reporting, that the dress was made by ready-to-wear fave Michael Kors (you can see a picture of the look here). And while this is one of the most interesting celebrity wedding dresses we've ever seen, the dress isn't as original as you'd expect. Apparently, Jennifer Lopez already rocked a nude-and-black version of the gown for the 2013 Met Gala!
One-of-a-kind or not, Perabo's shimmering dress touches upon one of our favorite recent bridal runway trends: metallic wedding dresses. So, if you feel like slipping into something shiny on your big day yourself, we found a few other metallic gowns that'll do the trick!

Theia: The swirling floral lace on this number nearly matches Perabo's expansive animal print. The silver, of course, is ultra-modern too.

Naeem Khan: Another printed look-a-like, Naeem Khan opted for abrstract, circular blue-and-silver beaded embellishments instead of sequins or lace.

Amanda Wakely: Although the aesthetic of this boho Amanda Wakely design is pretty different, the geometric and silver hue of the gown's embellishments create a similar, albeit more subdued, effect as Perabo's dress.
