While all of the attention is on the royal wedding in England, Monaco's princes and princesses also have exciting news. Pierre Casiraghi, Princess Caroline‘s son, and his wife, Beatrice Borromeo, welcomed a baby boy on Monday. The new royal's full name is Francesco Carlo Albert, according to People, and he is the couple’s second child; he will be 10th in line for the principality’s throne. Not to mention, the newborn counts Grace Kelly as his great-grandmother (Pierre is Princess Grace's grandson).

Beatrice, 32, confirmed her pregnancy in March at the 64th annual Bal de la Rose, where she wore a black velvet Alberta Ferretti gown and cradled her baby bump alongside Pierre, 30. The couple began dating in 2008 and married in 2015 with two separate celebrations. The first, a civil ceremony at Salon des Glaces in the Pink Palace, took place in July 2015 with just 70 guests at the intimate affair. In a somewhat shocking move, the bride wore a pale pink Valentino gown, complete with pink and gold lace and chiffon, floaty sleeves, and a flower crown. Five hundred guests attended the reception, where Borromeo changed into another Valentino frock—a white evening dress with silver embellishment—for the carnival-themed garden party at the Hôtel de Paris.

Just one month after their civil ceremony, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice tied the knot in a religious ceremony on two small islands that the Borromeo family owns on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Stresa, Italy. This time, Beatrice opted for a more traditional white dress, custom-made by Georgio Armani Privé. The bride later changed into a second white Armani gown.

In 2016, Beatrice told Glamour that she was looking forward to having a large family with her husband. “I come from a big family, and I want children of my own," she said. "At the moment I’m thinking about putting my career in a place where it would not get threatened by the presence of children.” Congratulations to the new parents of two!
