Droves of designers from across the pond are showing during Bridal Fashion Week this season. We asked six of them to dish on their collections, their dream clients, and their favorite places to see, shop, and stay in NYC. Below, Parisian dress designer Delphine Manivet dishes on what makes her collection so unique.
__Brides: Is this the first time you are showing in New York? __
Delphine Manivet: No, we showed last year at the Pier. New York is a fantastic place for wedding design.
Brides: How long have you been in the biz?
DM: I opened a boutique on Rue du Cherche-Midi in 2005.
Brides: Describe your bride.
DM: She's free, stylish, confident, and urban.
Brides: What makes your collection unique?
DM: I design lots of separate pieces in relaxed fabrics that are not usually seen in traditional bridal.
Brides: What celebrity would you love to dress for her wedding?
