The former reality star has been slowly revealing details of her wedding since Zylka popped the question on a ski trip in Aspen back in early January. While the bride-to-be has shared almost every detail there is to know about the big day (from her dream dress to her wedding cake), there's still one major piece to the puzzle that, so far, Hilton has kept to herself: her wedding date.
"Paris had her heart set on an 11/11 wedding. That was her dream date. But there's just too much to do and between her work and travel schedule, not enough time to do it," a source told E! News on Wednesday. "She is dead set on getting married so the wedding will happen. Just not as quickly as she had hoped. As of now, it's looking like a spring wedding instead."
If you've been following Hilton's engagement so far, you'll probably realize that this makes sense. The heiress has set some pretty high standards for her big day, and we're sure that planning a wedding of that caliber will take some time. After all, the bride plans to wear three different wedding dresses, and has mentioned that she also wants to have several ceremonies around the world. Casual.
In addition, the star has also dropped some hints about the other, smaller details of the big event. Her sister, Nicky Hilton, will be her maid of honor, and she has said that she wants her favorite bakery, Hansen's, to make what we imagine will be the most over-the-top wedding cake of all time.
"I've been having it since I was little for every birthday party. It's the best tasting cake in the world," she previously said of the bakery.
Now all that's left is the date! Sharing it with us soon would be, well, hot.
