Her marriage may not have lasted, but Pamela Anderson's diamond is forever! The bombshell actress and model is auctioning off her engagement ring from Rick Salomon (who she was married to twice!) on eBay for a good cause, People reports.
"I hope this very special Tiffany engagement ring can bring joy to someone while I put the donation to great use," the star told People. "One hundred percent of funds raised will go to The Pamela Anderson Foundation [dedicated to human, animal and environmental rights] and this will mark the launching of my foundation's new eBay charity store, where there will be signed books, magazines and more memorabilia."
As for the goods: The blinding bling is a 3.24-carat brilliant round-cut diamond from Tiffany & Co. with approximately .46 carats of round-brilliant diamonds surrounding the shimmering center stone. The starting bid for this sparkler is a whopping $100,000!
While they got divorced twice, in a public and at times brutal feud, the two ended on good terms. "Public divorces can be harsh and cruel — we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused — we have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on," the couple detailed in a joint statement after their second divorce was finalized this past April. "There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well."
And we wish the lucky owner of this blindingly beautiful ring well! Whoever purchases will not only be doing a good deed, but, we're sure, will make one lucky someone very happy.
