Each week we take a deeper look at one of our favorite new love stories, and today's inspiration comes courtesy of Cait and Rhett's incredible summer wedding in New Orleans.
The team from 63 Films joined this twosome at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters for a ceremony and reception dripping with Nola flair. From a drive through the beautiful city and a Spanish moss-covered ceremony to the couple's glamorous reception décor and Mardi Gras-inspired exit, Cait and Rhett totally embraced the style of the city where they swapped vows.
It's not hard to see why the bride and groom selected this venue for their big day: The stunning backdrop was worth every penny, and they certainly got their money's worth during a first look portrait session and open-air ceremony. Manicured gardens, lush trees, and an abundance of moss made for an unforgettable setting. The couple made the outdoor ceremony all the more romantic with a live pianist and guitarist and by surrounding the space with plenty of glowing candlelight.
They turned up the charm and party vibe for their reception. Feathered umbrellas gave a nod to the city's traditional first line and streamers in traditional Mardi Gras colors made for the perfect locally inspired exit. All in all, it's safe to say this bride and groom totally captured the fun-filled vibe of the city throughout their big day.
