The ladies have left Litchfield for a special occasion. Orange Is the New Black stars Lea Delaria, Danielle Brooks, and Australian actress Yael Stone showed their support for Australia's recent legalization of same-sex marriage by crashing two brides' wedding.
The OITNB actresses went on a press tour for Netflix in conjunction with Sydney's Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and during their trip, they decided to make an extra-special pit stop. Australian bride Tegan invited the group to surprise her bride Louise, a big fan of the show. Amazingly, the actresses pulled through, showing up for the occasion in their wedding best.
Delaria was the first to make her grand entrance at the wedding reception, hopping on the mic to give the pair of brides a special congratulations. "So, Tegan and Lou," began Delaria, as she spoke to the crowd of wedding guests. "Sorry to crash your wedding, I hope you don't mind. I have decided to not come by myself."
"I've brought a couple other friends with me," she continued as the camera panned to the two other OITNB actresses making their way towards the party with gifts in hand. "That's right. Yael Stone and Danielle Brooks!"
The brides, and Lou in particular, were beyond excited to welcome their unexpected wedding crashers to their big day, as each of the actresses gave the couple personal words of congratulations. "As an Australian, we've waited a long time for this to happen," Stone told the brides. "And we're really proud that we can be here and celebrate you guys individually and celebrate this change across this beautiful country that needed to change. So this is a beautiful moment and thank you for sharing it with us."
The actresses are all currently in Sydney, Australia for the Mardi Gras parade, ready to march with the Netflix float alongside co-star Samira Wiley, 13 Reasons Why's Christian Navarro and Alisha Boe, Mindhunter's Johnathan Groff, and Ultimate Beastmaster star Dannii Minogue.
