The only thing harder than breaking out of Litchfield? Planning a wedding! Orange Is the New Black star Laura Prepon is busy planning her nupitals to fiancé Ben Foster, but according to the bride-to-be, the process is shaping up to take the time of her on-screen counterpart's Litchfield stint.
Okay, so probs not that long, but wedding planing is certainly tricky business when you're as busy as this bride and groom. "He's going off to do two movies. I just wrapped last week. It's just, you know, scheduling. It's a lot," Prepon explained to E! News at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her latest flick, The Hero.
But despite the wedding planning craziness, the actress couldn't be happier about her bride-to-be status. "I'm happy," she said. "It's amazing. He's the love of my life."
Prepon announced her nupital news right on the heels of her OITNB co-star Samira Wiley's engagement. (There must be something in the water over at Litchfield!) In early October, the actress walked the red carpet, arm-in-arm with her sweetie — and with something very sparkly on her finger! With the debut of the star's engagement ring — a brilliant round-cut diamond on a thin pavé yellow gold band — came much excitement obvi, but now it's on to the nitty gritty of planning!
One of the first to-dos on Prepon's list? The guest list. Easier said than done, amiright?
"We want a really small wedding," said Prepon. "But we have a lot of people that we love and care about. It's weird, [but] apparently doing the list for your wedding is a whole thing that could cause some issues." Preach.
Planning for a small wedding definitely is no small task with a big family — or a big cell block, for that matter! "Our cast alone is like 50 people," Prepon said of her OITNB fam.
