Princess Charlotte was christened this past Sunday, and the official pictures from the joyous occasion we've all been waiting for have finally arrived! And you may remember that these portraits — the first formal portrait of the new royal family of four — were shot by Mario Testino, who also happened to be one of Charlotte's late grandmother, Princess Diana's, favorite photographers.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham," Kensington Palace said in a statement. "They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do."
"The whole day had a happy family feel," a source close to the royal family who attended the celebration told People of the celebration. "It was a celebration."
The entire family including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, Prince George, and of course the Middletons sat for a portrait that highlighted four royal generations.
Following the sit-down shot, there was a sweet stolen shot of Kate with Charlotte.
Prince William also holds a very smiley Prince George in another snap.
Last but not least, the picture-perfect family of four had a portrait of their own in the Sandrigham Gardens. William and Kate are absolutely beaming!
