One undeniable plus about competing on Dancing with the Stars? (Besides all those glittery, wedding-worthy costumes and that disco ball trophy, of course.) If you can hold your own in the DWTS ballroom, it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll slay the dance floor at your wedding. See: Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd, Julianne Hough, Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec, etc. Now, one upcoming cast member of the ABC hit is hoping to also learn some moves she can use on her own big day. Nikki Bella, who will be competing on season 25 of DWTS, is officially counting on her partner to get her (and fiancé John Cena) wedding-ready!
Executing a perfect first dance (i.e. ideally one with no trips or ripped trains) can be a daunting task for many brides and grooms. But this famous WWE couple has a secret weapon—DWTS pro Artem Chigvintsev, who has been partnered with Bella for the new season of the reality competition. "I for sure want to learn my first dance here," Bella told E! News. "It wasn't the full motivation but the second I said yes I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. I could totally learn my first dance!' And I want to do something kind of pretty and cool. I would love for them to help us out, oh my gosh. Can you imagine going to someone's wedding and they just whip out these insane moves?"
And Artem sounds totally on-board to teach Bella and her fiancé, fellow WWE wrestler John Cena, a thing or two. "Well, if John's going to be up for it, taking some dance lessons, I'm sure we can figure something out," Artem said.
First dance choreography? Check! And that's not the only major to-do this busy bride has crossed off her checklist. Bella recently spoke with People about her chosen wedding dress, revealing the designer she selected for the big day. "I can say that it’s a Marchesa," she said. "So I spoiled myself."
Now all there's left to do is say "I do!"
