We watched them fall in love via our TV screens (usually with a glass of rosé in hand), but will we get to watch them say their "I dos," too? With Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi officially engaged after this season's The Bachelor finale, the world—at least the part addicted to trashy reality TV—is wondering if these two will end up tying the knot on a televised wedding special. And the former Bachelor himself is finally dishing on the answer. So what's the deal, Nick?! We need to know if we should start stockpiling the rosé for our viewing party!
After a season that included a
shark dolphin suit, impromptu naps, and cheesy pasta, we can only imagine the reality TV gold that Viall and Grimaldi's wedding would be. But it doesn't sound like Chris Harrison should get his officiant suit pressed anytime soon.
According to Viall, he doesn't exactly see himself and his bride-to-be returning to the screen for their vows. "There's always a possibility," Viall told Extra, according to Us Weekly. "The thing about the wedding shows is that there's a lot of Bachelor engaged couples—they don't always do weddings," he explained.
"Vanessa and I are just focused on our relationship," the current Dancing with the Stars contestant continued. "When we decide it's time for us to take that next step, we're just going to plan a wedding, and if the show wants us, great, and if not…We're not really focused on whether it's going to be televised or not."
The last Bachelor Nation duo we got to see walk down the aisle was Bachelor in Paradise's Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert who tied the knot in an ABC special last year. So while the newest engaged couple of the franchise might not join the ranks of Mr. and Mrs. Tolbert, there's still a possibility according to Viall.
Here's hoping we get to see his new DWTS moves on the reception dance floor.
