Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra first tied the knot in the bride’s home country of India, and now the newlyweds are celebrating somewhere close to the groom’s heart. Over the weekend, Jonas and Chopra had their fourth wedding reception, held at Nellie's Southern Kitchen in Belmont, North Carolina.
Nellie’s Southern Kitchen is the Jonas family restaurant and was named after Kevin Jonas Sr.'s grandmother Nellie Jonas. On Sunday, their families gathered yet again to celebrate their love, but this time with a bit of southern flair.
"Nick and Priyanka just got hitched, but that knot that they tied has not been dipped in gravy or honey or hot chicken grease," a sign read inside the restaurant space, according to E!News. "So it's time we throw them a Nellie's Southern feast. Mama and Papa J invite you with pride to come celebrate their boy and his bride."
Chopra posted a photo from the event featuring her brother, mother, Nick and her in-laws. “Fam jam,” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you @nelliessouthernkitchen @mamadjonas@papakjonas for a wonderful reception! We love you! This was amazing ❤️💋😍”
More clips floating around on social media gave a closer look at the evening—including Chopra’s look! For the occasion, she wore a strapless white tea-length dress with an uneven hemline. Nick kept it more casual in a dark green button-down.
For entertainment, a live band played Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful," as the couple made their grand entrance. The night wrapped up with Nick and Chopra feeding each other a piece of the three-tier white cake they served—much more modest than the 18-foot version they served at their first reception.
Now that they’ve celebrated in each of their home bases, this might finally be the end of wedding celebrations for Nick and Chopra. After two ceremonies, four receptions, a mini-moon and a honeymoon—in just two months time—these two are probably ready to start living that newlywed life.
