Nick and Joe Jonas Are Turning Into "Groomzillas" Ahead of Their Weddings

Apparently, it runs in the family

The "Year 3000" era might have seemed like peak time to be a Jonas Brother, but 2018 also seems to be just as an exciting time for the Joe Bros. With both Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas getting married in the near future, there is plenty to celebrate. Nick is all set to marry actress Priyanka Chopra, Joe is planning to make it official with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner—and oldest brother Kevin Jonas is apparently sitting back and watching his siblings turn into “groomzillas.”

Kevin married his wife Danielle Deleasa back in 2009 and vividly remembers how hard the wedding planning process can be, and especially what a tough time his brothers gave him for not being able to keep his chill. "They gave me such a hard time when I was planning my wedding with Danielle," Kevin told Access Online. "I totally became a groomzilla, but they totally get it now. They understand the excitement and the level of stress and all the stuff I was dealing with."

But with nearly nine years of marriage experience under his belt, Kevin is now happily far removed from the wedding planning scene and is loving being on the other side of things. "It's pretty exciting," he said. "I can just attend and hang out. It will be great."

As for the other bros, we imagine things are pretty stressful—especially for Nick who will reportedly tie the knot next month. The Chopra-Jonas wedding is shaping up to be one fit for royalty. The couple will reportedly wed in India at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a luxury hotel that doubles as the primary residence of the Jodhpur royal family. Judging by their pre-wedding parties—the couple's engagement party in India, Chopra's bridal shower at Tiffany's and her bachelorette weekend in Amsterdam—and their regal choice of venue, this wedding will definitely be a lavish one.

Even though Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have been engaged for much longer than Nick and Chopra, they are seemingly further behind on wedding planning. This bride-to-be just doesn’t have the time for dresses and venues right now. Turner's schedule is jam-packed previously filming and soon promoting the final season of Game of Thrones, and she doesn’t plan on getting married until the show is over. She told People early this year that they are waiting until 2019 to plan their nuptials, so it sounds like Kevin will have one groomzilla left to deal with in the new year.
