Kim Stolz and Lexi Ritsch's Classic-Meets-Boho Bridgehampton Wedding

These two gorgeous brides, who wed on June 15th, 2013, may look a little familiar. Kim (above, on the right) is no stranger to the spotlight. She competed on America's Next Top Model in 2005, has been an MTV News correspondent, and opened NYC hotspot The Dalloway in 2012, all before joining Citigroup and penning a book, which hits shelves this summer. Lexi (above, on the left) is an event planner and designer who operates The Dalloway alongside Kim—that is, when she's not providing impeccable weekend preparation for the Hamptons-bound set with her company, South Fork and Spoon. So how did these busy women meet? "Like any other couple," says Lexi. "At a bar in the Hamptons!"

Lexi was the first to propose, popping the question to Kim in March of 2012. "My mom helped me pick the ring and plan the proposal," Lexi reveals. "We were going to Antigua, and I had it all figured out. Too bad Kim is SO good at figuring out surprises!" For proposal plan B, Lexi put a rush on the ring and made a reservation at Jean Georges. "I refused to check my giant down coat, forced Kim to sit in the booth (which is usually my seat), forced her to order lobster even though it wasn't in season, and then demanded she marry me as I fumbled the ring out of my pocket," Lexi says. It's a story they'll remember forever!

Within minutes, Lexi had ring envy, but Kim had something up her sleeve. A few weeks later, she brought Lexi to the Thompson LES for a (fake) trunk show in the penthouse. The elevator doors opened to a pathway of petals leading Lexi to Kim waiting for her on the balcony. "It was beautiful!" Lexi remembers.

The couple wed at Kim's parents' home in Bridgehampton. "We were so excited to have a personal connection to the space," says Lexi.

Kim wore an a-line Jenny Lee gown from Mark Ingram. Lexi's bohemian gown was quite a find. "It was under $1,000!" she says. Three flower girls and a ring bearer accompanied the brides down the aisle. The older girls wore gray ruffled dresses, while the youngest wore a white dress with a gray sash. The ring bearer embraced the setting in seersucker pants and a light pink shirt.

The ceremony took place in the yard. "Kim's parents installed a beautiful wooden arch in the hedges. It's still there—a reminder of such a special day," says Lexi. Pink and yellow roses and peonies topped the altar.

Weathered white benches flanked the aisle, which was decorated with jars of light pink blooms.

"Our second ring bearer was our dog, Izzy," says Kim. The dog wore French cuffs just for the occasion.

Lexi and Kim exchanged traditional vows, as well as sharing declarations of love for one another. After they walked back up the aisle, their guests proceeded through the arch to the cocktail hour. "It was so special to have everyone join us in our marriage by walking through the arch," says Lexi.

Cocktail hour took place by the pool, with lush flowers topping whitewashed tables. "I took on all the design aspects myself," says Lexi. "I picked every single piece of vintage furniture!"

The escort cards were a nod to an unintentional invitation error. "We stuffed the envelopes ourselves, and forgot to put stamps on the RSVP cards!" reveals Lexi. "Kim emailed our entire guest list to apologize." For the place cards, each guest received a postcard with their name and a selection of vintage stamps. "We stuck the stamps on with glue dots to pay our guests back for the 45 cents they spent RSVPing!" The couple loved going through the stamps to pick ones for every individual guest.

Inside the tent, Lexi's event design expertise shone through. Ten long tables were accompanied by vignettes of vintage lounge furniture. "We sat the adults and family members at the tables, while our friends were grouped on the couches and settees," says Lexi. "We wanted a less structured reception, but wanted to make sure every guest had somewhere to sit or leave their purse." Mismatched chairs gave the tables some texture, while low, lush centerpieces of peonies and roses added whimsical color.

The lounge-style seating was centered around coffee and end-tables. Guests were greeted with flatbreads, cheese, and olives, and cocktails were arranged on self-serve vintage bar carts. Hors d'oeuvres were passed throughout the night, making sure that guests were fed whenever they were hungry. "We didn't want people to have to abandon a good conversation just to have something to eat." Two stations, featuring food inspired by their Hamptons venue and Southeast Asian honeymoon, provided additional delicious bites.

Of course there were signature cocktails! "We served our three favorite seasonal drinks from The Dalloway: Gin & Ginny (a spicy gin drink with lime, Tabasco and Worcestershire), Maggie's Beer (a margarita topped with Mexican beer), and Eddie's Lemonade (yellow lemonade turned pink with the addition of cayenne pepper)," says Lexi, who helped create the drinks menu at the restaurant.

The guest book also tied in to the RSVP card snafu. Guests could write their well-wishes to Kim and Lexi on vintage postcards, then drop them into the mailbox. The brides' in-laws have been mailing a handful of cards to them every few months since the wedding. What a wonderful way to keep the wedding-day love alive!

Kim and Lexi had their first dance to Stevie Nicks and Don Henley's "Leather and Lace."

"We danced with our father and our mothers," says Lexi. The song of choice? Van Morrison's "Days Like This."

Though the couple did have a single-tiered cake on-hand to cut during the reception, they never got around to it. "You couldn't get us off the dance floor!" says Lexi. "We ate the cake for breakfast the next day." Instead, they served made-to-order Dreesen's donuts and single-serve containers of Je & Jo ice cream. The brides loved their band, Kim Sozzi and Creations Music. "I had to look up to make sure Rihanna herself hadn't shown up to sing at our wedding," says Lexi.

They're still just as busy, but Lexi and Kim have settled easily into married life. Lexi's advice, as both a recent bride and a wedding planner and designer, is to take a deep breath. "Weddings are stressful by default, but it's your big day. It will be perfect!" She encourages couples to shoot for the moon. "Don't be scared to do something different," she says. "Oh! And have your planner put some food in your hotel room for a late night snack!"
