A bachelorette weekend in Napa Valley should have three things: good food, good wine, and a great hotel. Beyond that, whether you want to spend your time exploring the wineries of the valley, relaxing by the pool, working up a sweat in the gym, or being pampered in the spa, it's all up to you. These Napa Valley hotels are perfect for any bachelorette party, no matter what your plans.
Located in the heart of downtown Napa, a short stroll from Oxbow Market and dozens of tasting rooms, the Westin Verasa Napa is one of the Valley's larger hotels and offers the best of both worlds: a hotel with a ton of amenities and a central location, making it easy to explore the local area. At the hotel, there is an onsite pool and Jacuzzi (complete with cabanas and a seasonal pool bar), a small fitness room, spa, and two dining options: the BANK bar and restaurant and the Michelin-starred La Toque restaurant. The rooms are perfect for bachelorette groups, containing small kitchenettes with mini-fridges, electric two-burner cook tops, microwaves, sinks, and dishwashers. Suites have living areas with sofa-beds; the Two Bedroom King Suites can sleep up to six people and come with a full kitchen.
The Meritage Resort and Spa is a bit of a Napa Valley wonderland for adults. In fact, the hotel offers just about everything the area is known for, all in one place. There are great food and drink options available at the onsite bar, restaurant, and wine-tasting rooms as well as a spa set in a wine cave (complete with a relaxation lounge of whirlpools and steam grottos). On the grounds, a trail leads from the hotel to nearby vineyards. There is also a pool and fitness room, a putting green, a chapel, and even a sports bar with a bowling alley. If you can tear yourself away from the hotel, a free shuttle will take you to downtown Napa.
For a more rustic and private Napa escape, Charlie Palmer's Harvest Inn is a wonderful option. The hotel boasts spacious rooms, private patios, and large stone fireplaces in each guest room surrounded by lush, beautiful landscaping. The hotel is set just off Napa's main artery a half mile south of downtown St. Helena, making it feel like it's much farther from civilization than it is. Its amenities include an onsite restaurant, two pools (one is adults-only), and a spa; guests also receive complimentary breakfast, evening wine on weekends, and a complimentary bottle of wine.
Solage Calistoga is a hotel and spa that sits on the edge of Napa Valley's most northern town – an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms. Rooms have pebble stone floors in the showers, semi-private patios, and vaulted ceilings. There's an onsite Michelin-starred restaurant and the Spa Solage, which offers the Mudslide treatment: a signature three-part experience that includes a custom mud body mask, a soak in geo-thermal mineral spring water, and then some relaxing time in a special sound and vibration chair. There's also a co-ed soaking pool and separate men's and women's clothing-optional areas. Other on-site diversions include a gym and yoga studio, two pools, a hot tub, and regulation size bocce ball courts. When it's time to head off-site, take a spin on one of the hotel's complimentary bikes.
With nearly 400 rooms on 1,200 acres, the Silverado Resort and Spa is a sprawling resort paradise for those who'd like to spend more time golfing, swimming, playing tennis, or jogging rather than tasting wine all day. The resort also offers plenty of activities to explore, with two golf courses, ten pools, three restaurants, 13 tennis courts, three bocce courts, miles of trails, and a fitness center and spa onsite. Every condo at the resort is unique, but many suites have spacious living rooms, balconies or patios, dining areas as well as fully-equipped kitchens. Plus, if you do want to take a break from the resort activities and enjoy some wine country action, it's just a few minutes' drive to downtown Napa.
