Let's take a wild guess—your wedding Google searches probably look something like, "How to cut a wedding guest list?" or "How soon to buy a wedding dress?" Are we right?! Regardless, no matter what crucial nuptial-related matters you're seeking answers to on the World Wide Web, a few specific weddings actually came out on top this year in terms of search volume.

Google released its 2018 Year in Search on Wednesday, highlighting the most popular topics and terms that curious folks typed in beneath the multicolored logo. Aside from "World Cup" stealing the throne as the highest search term overall, Google broke the results down into assorted categories such as beauty, fashion, and—you guessed it—weddings. Below, we broke down the specific results that should be on all bride-to-be radars (and you may actually recognize a few from your own search history).

Based on the search platform's findings, the one wedding term that commanded the most attention this year was, drum roll, please..."royal wedding." Shocker! Along with a reported 29.2 million television viewers in the United States alone, this data confirms that Meghan and Harry fandom is obviously real. That's not the only royal wedding of note, though—Princess Eugenie's big day resulted in another incredibly high search volume.
