Brides-to-be, get excited. Fans of Monique Lhuillier's romantic bridal and ready-to-wear designs can now look forward to a new collection of goods from the designer. Lhuillier will team up with Pottery Barn to launch a line of wedding registry-friendly items, including bedding, bath, tabletop, entertaining, and decor. Although Lhuillier has previously partnered with Pottery Barn Kids, her first collection for Pottery Barn is decidedly more grown up, with a mix of prints, rose gold, and embroidery. The inspiration? Lhuillier's iconic wedding gowns, of course.
"Throughout the design process we drew inspiration from Monique's gowns, finding the perfect balance of femininity and modernity as we translated her use of color, prints, and texture for the home," said Monica Bhargava, Executive Vice President of Product Development and Design for Pottery Barn. Lhuillier is known for her use of delicate fabrics like lace, organza, and tulle, so we can be sure that whatever products she designs will be different from anything Pottery Barn has previously released. "The Monique Lhuillier & Pottery Barn collection blends my passion for entertaining with my love of fashion to capture a unique sense of style, one that exudes femininity with a modern sensibility," said Lhuillier.
The multiseason collaboration will debut in October 2017 (images of the collection have yet to be released) and new products will be released in spring 2018 and beyond. You can find the new collection in select Pottery Barn stores and online at PotteryBarn.com, just in time for the holiday season. If you haven't completed your wedding registry yet, you may want to wait until this fall.
Like us, if you find yourself counting down till the launch date, let's look back at her gorgeous Spring 2018 collection. Get lost in Chantilly lace, floral appliqués, and jewel-encrusted capes. Not to worry, October will be here before you know it.
