It doesn't get more Italian than a Dolce & Gabbana model wearing a Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress to get married, right? That's what happened on August 1, 2017, when Italian model Bianca Balti exchanged vows with Matthew McRae in a flower-filled, outdoor ceremony at the Ranch at Laguna Beach. For their big day, which was actually a vow renewal on their first anniversary, the couple created a perfectly Italian-themed celebration that included Bianca's oldest daughter, Matilde, and the couple's daughter, Mia—from the ceremony to the cake cutting.
The couple worked with Natalie Good of A Good Affair to create an Italian-themed celebration (a nod to the bride's home country) that featured lemons as the focal point of the decorations. And while the decor was beautiful (seriously, just wait until you see the hanging canopy of wisteria), the family's fashion—all Dolce & Gabbana—stole the show. Keep reading to see more Bianca and Matthew's beautiful vow renewal, as photographed by Marco Tassinari.

The bride's friend Ozzy Salvatierra did her makeup, opting for a natural look that matched the venue's natural setting. “I really just wanted to look like myself, so he did a very natural look and added depth to my blue eyes using a light purple mascara and eyeshadow," the bride told Vogue. (And with her youngest daughter in her lap, we're going to assume this was the most enjoyable makeup session ever!)

For her grand entrance down the aisle, the model wore a custom gown by Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda. The bespoke wedding dress, designed by Stefano Gabbana himself, featured an empire waist, billowing cap sleeves, and a long lace train. The bride admits that she first spotted the gown a few years ago, when she was walking in a Dolce & Gabbana runway show. "I took a photo knowing that this was the dreamiest dress I’d ever seen," she said. "When the moment came, I had no doubt that I wanted to wear it! I owe so much of my career to Dolce & Gabbana that it just felt natural to have a dress designed by them."
Bianca completed her bridal look with flats—perfect for running around with her two girls!—and sapphire earrings from her mother.

At 5:30 p.m., Bianca walked down a flower-lined aisle to meet her groom on a stage surrounded by more white flowers.

The ceremony was a family affair—Bianca and Matthew were joined at the altar by their flower girls, who wore mini versions of their mother's lace dress, and the groom's father, who officiated the vow renewal. Bianca’s father also took part, reading the First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians in Italian "and at the end, he burst into tears of emotion,” said Bianca.

The reception took place on a covered deck at the Ranch, where the bride and her planner created a breathtaking floral canopy above the tables. The bride's vision was to re-create an Italian scene with greenery, white wisteria, and lemons growing around and above each of the tables (a nod to both her home country, Italy, and her new home, Orange County). “We needed to make the location of the dinner look just as breathtaking as the natural setting," the bride explained. "And, she did! The decor was rich and over the top yet also warm and laid back."

Long dinner tables had a very natural look as well, featuring lace linens, lemon place cards (calligraphed with each guest's name!), and Italian candies handmade by the artist Pisati in Lodi, Italy, where Bianca grew up.

The family cut the wedding cake—which sat on a crochet centerpiece handmade by Bianca’s 94-year-old grandmother—together before everyone moved inside to dance late into the night. "I couldn't wait to dance," said the bride. And with a setting this gorgeous, we can definitely understand why. Much love to this couple and their beyond beautiful celebration!
