Milo Ventimiglia Had the Sweetest Things to Say About This Is Us Co-star Mandy Moore and Husband Taylor Goldsmith

"The two of them complement each other so well

The only thing better than Jack and Rebecca Pearson's love on This Is Us is Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia's real life friendship. And now, Moore's on-screen husband is opening up about her real life one.

“As long as I’ve known Mandy, I’ve known Taylor, her now-husband. He’s such a great guy and the two of them complement each other so well,” Ventimiglia told Us Weekly of the actress's new husband, Taylor Goldsmith. “So knowing that they tied the knot and we were there to celebrate it was really fun.”

When asked about the couple's plans to expand their brood, Ventimiglia admitted he wasn't entirely sure about what their future holds. “Oh, I have no idea," he said. "I mean, Mandy and I are pretty busy with the kiddos at work. I don’t know if that inspires her.”

Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot in a small backyard ceremony in November, complete with a pink dress and an endless array of complementary blooms. They also performed a romantic duet at the reception, treating friends and family to a rendition of "The Things I Might Have Been” by Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge

The couple's love story was a quintessential 21st century one, with their initial flirtation taking place on Instagram. "I took a picture of their album and posted it on Instagram," Moore revealed in October. "Somehow, Taylor saw it and sent a note to me. We started emailing back and forth, then we went on a date and the rest is history. Thanks Instagram, for helping me meet my fiancé!"

And in an adorable instance of life imitating art, ahead of her wedding Moore revealed that the dress she wore to marry Ventimiglia's character on This Is Us influenced the one she selected in real life. "The dress was cut so beautifully and had a long train," the actress said. "For a girl who never wanted to get married or have a proper wedding, it kind of had me rethinking some things."
