We already knew that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher exchanged vows at sunset over July 4th weekend in a super-secret ceremony at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California. However, more details are surfacing on the newlyweds' private affair, including what the bride and the couple's adorable nine-month-old daughter, Wyatt, wore.
A source told People that Kunis and Kutcher were already legally married and that this recent wedding party served as a low-key gathering to celebrate their nuptials with close family and friends. "They're so happy," the source said. "They're so in love."
The former That '70s Show co-stars' venue of choice for the occasion is a serene, secluded spot—about an hour and half west of Los Angeles—with acres of apple orchards, ponds, and botanical gardens. The gated space, according to its website, only recently became available for exclusive weddings and private events. The couple stocked the lush grounds, which had been playfully dubbed "Camp KuKu" for Kunis and Kutcher, with outdoorsy activities, set up among rows of tents serving as a luxe glamping campground for partygoers.
"It's extremely private, secluded and beautiful. It's a place that feels a million miles away from Los Angeles. There's a huge pond in the middle and it's surrounded by apple orchards and vistas," a source told E! News, adding that the couple had actually been scoping out the area for a while now, dishing that "they visited the area last winter."
Although the newlyweds didn't exactly put their guests up in five-star hotel rooms, they did put them up in luxury tents on the ranch grounds so that no one had to leave the property for the entire celebratory weekend. "Everyone danced and had a great time," the source said, adding that "there was also a casual farewell brunch on Sunday morning before everyone went home."
The wedding bash doesn't sound like a weekend that guests will soon forget! One celebrity in attendance took to Twitter on Monday to sound off on the couple's weekend nuptials. The groom's former Two and a Half Men co-star, Jon Cryer, referenced his TV relationship with Kutcher on Twitter, nodding to the show's plot twist in which Dr. Alan Harper (Cryer) marries Walden Schmidt (Kutcher).
"Less than a year ago @aplusk and I were married on national TV," the comedian wrote of Kutcher. "Well, (sniff) maybe Mila will succeed where I (sniff, sniff) ...failed." Adding in a later tweet: "And yes, I was there. But I did not make a scene. We were all very mature about it.
At the wedding, Kunis "was glowing and a stunning bride," an eyewitness told Us Weekly. The Ted star, who wore her hair pulled back in a bun, donned a strapless tulle dress with crystal beading and a low-cut back.
Kutcher opted for a dark tuxedo with a bow tie. "He was carrying Wyatt around throughout the afternoon. He clearly loves her so much and never wanted to put her down," the source said of the couple's daughter, who was matching her mom in an "adorable" white dress. "Wyatt was great during the ceremony and didn't cry or make a fuss," the source adds.
