Did Michelle Williams get an engagement ring from her new boyfriend as an early Christmas present? The rumor mill certainly seems to think so, since the four-time Oscar nominee, who started dating financial consultant Andrew Youmans sometime last year, has recently been seen wearing a rather large diamond ring on her left hand at several high-profile events. The stunning piece of jewelry features a large heart-shaped diamond set in a simple gold band.
Williams was first spotted wearing the ring to the Los Angeles premiere of All the Money in the World in mid-December, People reports. More recently, she sported her new bling at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated for best actress in a drama for her role in the attention-grabbing film, and which she attended with best friend Busy Philipps. When People asked whether the sparkly piece was an engagement ring, Williams reportedly stayed tight-lipped, admitting only that it was "beautiful jewelry"—which is probably the most gracious yet totally evasive non-answer of all time.
Williams and Youmans, the New York–based founder and former president of Yomo Consulting, were first seen spending time together in July 2017, while Williams was filming All the Money in the World in Rome. Since then, they've kept things extremely low-key: They've rarely been seen together in the following months, and neither Williams nor Youmans has commented on or confirmed their relationship, let alone the rumored engagement. (People confirmed the relationship this week through an inside source.)
Williams, 37, has previously been linked to director Spike Jonze, actor Jason Segel, and writer Jonathan Safran Foer in the years since the death of Heath Ledger, her longtime partner and the father of 12-year-old daughter Matilda. In 2012, Williams and Segel were rumored to have gotten engaged, but, as they broke up in February 2013, those rumors never came to fruition.
