Forget George Michael from Arrested Development, Michael Cera is all grown up, and sources confirm that the actor is married!
Cera secretly tied the knot with his now-wife, Nadine, in a low-key wedding, though the two have not revealed any information about their big day. The two were spotted walking around Brooklyn, New York, together on Saturday, where Cera flashed his shiny new gold wedding band. The newlyweds were seen showing off some adorable PDA despite the chilly weather.
Though the private couple have yet to reveal when they tied the knot or even when they started dating, Cera, 29, has been wearing the wedding band-style ring on his left hand since at least January 2017, according to Us Weekly.
But fans of Cera know that the actor keeps his personal life very private. He previously dated his Scott Pilgrim vs. the World costar Aubrey Plaza, but never made their relationship public. Plaza eventually revealed their relationship later on, during an interview on RuPaul and Michelle Visage’s podcast What’s the Tee? in late 2016.
“Oh, Michael. I dated him for a long time. A year and a half. We drove across the country after we shot that movie and almost got married in Vegas," she said, adding that the two remained friends even after splitting up. "We love each other. We’re still really good friends. He’s just a weird little freak, and we speak the same language. He’s one of the funniest people I know.”
Cera has yet to release any statements confirming the news, and we don't expect him to do so anytime soon. The actor does not actively use any public social media accounts and rarely appears in interviews to speak about his personal life. But despite his silence on the Internet, the two seem very happy in the shots taken this weekend.
Congrats to the happy couple!
