Miami is known for its laid-back vibe, eclectic cuisine, and, of course, vibrant party scene. So when it comes to brides in the south Florida city, you know they’ll want a variety of dress options to reflect their varying tastes. Fortunately, the beachfront metropolis is filled with bridal shops to suit any bride and ensure she looks as unique as the city she’s from. Here are the top ones.
Ever After

Between the sleek modern furniture and couture gowns kept behind glass, you’ll feel as if you’re in one of Coral Gables’s high-end art galleries rather than a bridal shop. Then again, the dresses, by designers like Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and Carolina Herrera, are often considered works of art, and the on-site seamstresses make them one of a kind. The price point is high, but it’s one of the few places you can get gowns right from the runway.

It’s the first bridal shop in the artsy Wynwood neighborhood, and you won’t be surprised to see pink couches, blush-colored walls, and a neon sign that says, “This Is What You Came For.” Keeping with the hip theme, the "I-don't-want-to-look-like-a-typical-bride dresses" are hung in the middle of the store, museum-style, and are even suspended from the ceiling.
Chernaya Bridal House

It makes sense that as the only bridal retailer located in the posh Design District, Chernaya is all about featuring edgy international designers like Elie Youssef and Ersa Atelier. All the gowns hang in wooden and glass showcases that surround a central chandelier and lush black and silver furniture. You might think you were in a nightclub if it weren’t for all the gowns. Bonus: In keeping with the design-centric neighborhood, you can get a custom-designed gown from the salon’s black label if you don’t find something on the rack.
Chic Parisien Bride

Located in the Coral Gables neighborhood, this simply-designed store that has been in business since 1969 features designs by Hayley Paige and Berta. “Catherine at Chic Parisien can look at a bride and pull out perfect options after asking just a few questions,” says Nathalie Cadet-James of Luxe Fête. “It feels very comfortable, like your favorite aunt's pied-à-terre.”
J. Del Olmo Bridal Gallery and Couture

Interestingly, it’s a father and daughter who own this Coral Gables salon. This duo translates their unique bond into their dress collection, as they carry both their own label as well as other local south Florida designers. And don’t be surprised if you see owner Mr. Del Olmo pop up at your appointment to give his opinion. He’s still very involved with his shop, even after nearly a decade in business.
La Vie En Blanc

Owners Jenise and Viviana are all about making dream weddings come true—but on a budget. You’ll still get all of the attention a luxury bridal shop provides, with one-on-one appointments with champagne in a chic all-white showroom, except the dresses will be 25 to 75 percent less than retail. Using their marketing backgrounds, they developed a resell program to help brides get gently used designer gowns at a fraction of the cost.

The range of dresses here will appeal to any bride, whether she is classic, edgy, or glamorous. You can expect dresses from brands like the sexier 1707 Bunny to the more traditional Alcoba. Once your dream dress is chosen, the shop will ensure that it fits like a glove and recommend the best accessories to complete the look.

Brides rave about the details of the gowns found in this Coral Gables shop. “There was something about the unique and delicate lace on the dress that I just couldn’t leave without,” says one bride-to-be. It’s not surprising that the tranquil, airy shop is filled with these unique gowns, as each one was handpicked by the staff, which has over 20 years of bridal experience.
