Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone have once again proved they're #relationshipgoals. One of the funniest couples in Hollywood dished on their marriage while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air Friday afternoon — and if it's one thing this couple has mastered, it's laughing at what most couple's would consider annoying quirks.
"I think I do things that make her not laugh," Falcone revealed to Ellen. "Is that a sentence?"
Unfortunately, this tactic doesn't seem to work on the actress. In fact, this makes her laugh even more, which creates a perfect dynamic in their relationship. "I think what should not be making me laugh makes me laugh more. There are certain very weird things," she said of her husband. "Ben, lovingly, is a super-hypochondriac, maybe germophobe and we may have seven or eight blood pressure cuffs in our home. There are six of them squirreled away in his closet, and I know it!"
"One isn't enough," Falcone quickly responded. "What if it's not working right?!"
A couple that laughs together, stays together!
The couple has quite the cute relationship, and their successful marriage could have something to do with their similar backgrounds. “We have always been lucky that we have worked together for so long but we see the same thing and we have had the same goals,” McCarthy revealed last year, while on the red carpet for the premiere of The Boss. “I think that how we met, writing and performing together, and we love each other and respect each other and we give each other lots of breaks.”
Falcone seemingly echoed this during an interview with the Daily Telegraph last April. "We know how lucky we are as a couple — I can safely speak for Melissa when I say, both of our plans when we moved to LA was probably very similar, which was: If I can make any kind of a living doing something I really enjoy, then, hooray."
