President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump may be traveling together as husband and wife on the commander in chief's first overseas trip—but that doesn't mean she's going to hold his hand. In a new video of the POTUS and FLOTUS leaving their plane after touching down in Israel, Melania decisively shuts down her husband's latest effort at PDA.
The clip shows the President and First Lady walking down the tarmac in Tel Aviv with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and his wife Sara (who, by the way, seems to be holding her husband's hand). But when Donald reaches out in Melania's direction, she wastes no time in not-so-subtly swatting away the limb inching toward her.
This latest development doesn't exactly disprove rumors that the First Couple's marriage is on the rocks, rumors that have been fueled by internet memes like #SadMelania and Vanity Fair's deep dive into the Trumps' marriage (her rep later downplayed any marital strife between the two). Not to mention the fact that Melania and Donald have lived apart for the majority of his presidency thus far—though she's reportedly set to move into the White House in June, despite reports stating she would remain at Trump Tower in New York City.
