In December, Meghan Trainor got the best birthday present ever when her boyfriend, Daryl Sabara (a.k.a. Juni from Spy Kids), popped the question. “I SAID YESSSS!!!!" she wrote on her Instagram. "For my 24th birthday, the love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true. He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I’m still in shock. I’ve never been this happy!”
But although they've been together for a year and a half, the "No Good for You" singer says she's been bringing up marriage since the early days of their relationship. "We talked about getting married (by) month one," she told Hoda Kotby on the Today show. "I was aggressive. I wrote a song called, 'Marry Me.'"
And "Dear Future Husband." Don't forget about that one, Meghan. Think she played these tunes in the background during their dates?
According to Today, the soul mates were introduced to each other by Chloë Grace Moretz. "I said, 'I need you to find me a nice guy,' and she said, 'I know the nicest guy in the world. His name is Daryl. Let's go on a double date,'" Trainor recounted. "And that night we count as our anniversary, because it was just [clap]...I think that's when I knew. He came up to me during bowling and said, 'I just want to know about you. Just tell me more about you."
