She won't be singing about her 'future husband' anymore—Meghan Trainor is officially off the market!
On Saturday, December 22, the "All About That Bass" singer tied the knot with Spy Kids actor Daryl Sabara in a backyard ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, California, according to People. The date was especially significant to the bride, as it was not only her 25th birthday but it was also exactly one year after Sabara proposed.
For the big day, the bride stunned in a Berta gown, which she complimented with Badgley Mischka heels and Norman Silverman jewels. The couple exchanged hand-written vows in front of their 100 guests, before heading to their reception where Trainor changed into a Rita Vinieris suit and Aldo sneakers. Their dance-filled reception included plenty of comfort foods for guests to snack on throughout the evening.
The bride and groom opened up about what they're most excited for in their new life together, revealing that they are loving “just rockin’ them rings!”
“I’m really excited to say ‘hubby’ and ‘husband,'” Trainor told People. The groom revealed that he is equally excited for the title change, adding, "I’m no longer the ‘future hubby’ — I get to just be the hubby, which I’m excited about!”
The couple originally met in 2014 through their mutual friend, Chloë Grace Moretz, but didn't go public with their relationship until October 2016. Last year, Sabara popped the question in a romantic, Christmas light-filled proposal, which sparked a year's worth of prepping for the big day.
“It’s the beginning of an awesome, whole new life,” Trainor said. “I got way more than I ever wished for.”
“I’m the luckiest guy in the world,” Sabara added.
