No matter how many royal wedding planners she has on call, there's one person that Meghan Markle needed to fly halfway around the world to talk about her big day with: her mom.

The princess-to-be reportedly flew to Los Angeles over the weekend to spend time with her mother, Doria Ragland, and chat about all things related to the royal wedding. According to Good Morning America, the actress found a rare break in her (very busy) schedule, and allegedly arrived in L.A. ready to talk bridal business. She was "equipped with sketches from the wedding and of the wedding dress itself, so she could really give her mom some insight on how the big day will look," royal contributor Omid Scobie told GMA on Wednesday morning.

This may be why Markle was notably absent from the royal family's Easter celebration on Sunday, though Palace officials initially stated that she and Harry's weekend plans were "private." According to GMA, Harry reportedly spent time with "the boys" in London, and did not accompany his bride-to-be on her trip stateside.

With only six weeks left until the nuptials, Meghan and Harry are reportedly planning to fly Ragland to London so she can continue to be involved in the planning for the big day. Plus, she'll get the chance to meet Markle's future in-laws—a.k.a. the royal family—for the first time.

While there hasn't been any confirmed news on how Markle's mom will be included in the wedding day, many assume that she will likely follow the (not royal) tradition of having her father walk her down the aisle. Markle's parents are divorced, but they issued a joint statement in support of their daughter after the announcement of the royal wedding.

"We are incredibly happy for Harry and Meghan," the statement read. "Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together."
