Before Meghan Markle walks down the aisle IRL, the American actress is walking down the aisle tonight...on the season finale of Suits! Rachel Zane, Markle's character on the hit legal drama, is set to wed her on-screen love, Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams), on tonight's episode. Think of it as a little preview for May 19's royal wedding. Sure, we still have to wait a few weeks to see Markle debut her sure-to-be iconic wedding dress, but we'll be getting a taste tonight when she dons a bridal gown for her fictional I do's. Luckily, we already have all the details on Meghan Markle's Suits wedding dress—including where you can buy it for yourself!
April 25's Suits season seven finale will be the final episode for Markle who has left the show to join the royal family. (Not a bad trade-off, TBH.) But she's going out with a bridal bang, tying the knot with her costar and riding off into the on-screen sunset. We got our first look of what Markle's Rachel Zane will wear for the occasion when trailers and preview photos for the episode were first released.
With its voluminous A-line silhouette and pop of color at the waist, the dress appeared to be perfect for a modern-day princess or (a legal superhero).
For her (fictional) big day, Meghan Markle will be wearing the Versailles wedding dress by Anne Barge. The frock may look familiar to Suits fans: It's the same gown that Markle's character planned to wear for her called-off wedding to Mike Ross back in season five—with some fresh modifications, of course.
With the addition of a sheer back panel and a thin black belt, the embroidered V-neck gown was made ready for Rachel Zane's second attempt at a walk down the aisle, as well as for dream-dress Pinterest boards everywhere.
“It is thrilling to see Meghan Markle in her role as Rachel Zane wearing our Versailles wedding gown in the season seven finale of Suits," Shawn Jacobs, creative director and president of Anne Barge tells Brides exclusively. "She made such a stunning bride in her onscreen role. I am sure she will look incomparably beautiful in her real-life fairytale wedding."
While you probably won't be able to get your hands on Meghan Markle's royal wedding dress—what with it most likely being one-of-a-kind, of course—you can certainly snag her Suits wedding dress to wear at your own nuptials.
