For their first big trip following their wedding (and honeymoon, of course), Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are confirmed to be traveling to Australia this fall, where they will be attending the 2018 Invictus Games, the Paralympic-style competition for wounded veterans that Harry has spearheaded for many years. But in between the stop in Sydney for the Games and an official tour of New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga afterward, the newlyweds are reportedly going to take a few fashionable vacation days for themselves.
Per The Mirror, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be sneaking away to Noosa, Queensland, for a short amount of time as guests in the secluded home of Suits star Gabriel Macht and his wife, Jacinda Barrett. Macht and Barrett are owners of a sprawling beachside property—Barrett, an actress, is a native of the area—which is located about two hours north of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast. In fact, The Mirror also reports that fellow Suits actress Sarah Rafferty has been invited to join in on the fun, transforming this into a mini Suits reunion.
"Harry and Meghan have a window free and Gabriel and his wife have invited them to their beautiful Queenslander-style house," a source teased to the publication. "It’s an incredible place and will be perfect for them to chill out before they go on what is likely to be a fairly nonstop tour. They’ll have a great time and they’ll have a chance to see the real Australia after the bustle of Sydney.”
While it seems like lovely vacay time, this Queensland escape won't be serving as the couple's official honeymoon spot. That's reportedly coming in the form of a very posh Canadian retreat, Alberta's Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, which is located smack-dab in the middle of a forest, for ultimate privacy. Kensington Palace, so far, hasn't commented on the reported impending Suits reunion.
