What Meghan Markle's Second Wedding Dress Might Look Like

You know how you didn't think it was even possible to get more excited about Meghan Markle's wedding dress? Well, you're just going to have to find it in yourself to double that excitement. Recent rumors have reported that the royal bride-to-be is actually planning to wear two wedding dresses when she ties the knot with Prince Harry on May 19. And why wouldn't she?

With the Queen herself sitting nearby and millions of people watching at home, we wouldn't blame Markle if she made a dozen costume changes throughout the day. But, while the world has been busy predicting what Markle's first wedding dress will look like for months now, her second dress is a total mystery.

"Meghan will definitely change for the evening reception," predicts one of the U.K.'s leading bridal designers, Caroline Castigliano. If she does, in fact, double up on dresses, Markle will be following in the footsteps of her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who traded her iconic Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown for a more streamlined satin dress for her and Prince William's nighttime reception.

However, "British brides are not so prone to having two dresses," Castigliano points out. "They prefer to wear a gown that can be adapted from a day to night look. This often means they will have a sleeved lace jacket or shrug that they will take off in the evening to reveal a strapless gown and add a glitzy belt and beautiful jewelry." But, hey, Kate and Meghan are royal brides, after all! And it's not like the American actress has never broken a tradition or two.

From her rumored reception speech to the non-traditional wedding cake, the former Suits star does like to shake up the rules, and Castigliano expects her to do the same with her second wedding dress. "The gown she will wear for the service and daytime reception will be classic," she says, predicting, "Her gown will have sleeves, her shoulders will be covered, and there will be no cleavage." The dress for Markle's evening reception, however, will allow her to exercise her oh-so-enviable sense of personal style a little more freely. So, just what will this sure-to-gorgeous gown look like?

"The dress Meghan will wear for the evening reception will be fitted and slinky," Castigliano believes, adding that she thinks Markle will go for a sleeveless and backless style to "show off her stunning figure," and that sparkling beadwork is practically a given. We think these hot-off-the-runway wedding dresses from Bridal Fashion Week fit the bill!

We'd love to see Meghan Markle rock a fabulous fitted frock like this for her second royal wedding look. But will the Queen approve of such a slinky style? Guess we'll just have to wait until May 19 to find out. (How many days are there left again?)
