Meghan Markle's royal wedding was filled with lovely details—from her nod to the Commonwealth down to the shoes her bridesmaids wore. Kensington Palace confirmed that the young ladies wore coordinating Givenchy dresses complete with pockets, natch, and paired with personalized footwear.
The Duchess of Sussex gifted each of the five tots white leather Aquazurra shoes monogrammed with the bridesmaids' initials and the wedding date. It's not easy to find the perfect bridesmaid gift, but Meghan managed to find the sweetest keepsake to commemorate the special day. The thoughtful mementos didn't stop there, either.
According to People, Meghan also gifted six of her closest friends, as well as sister-in-law Kate Middleton, a custom gold disc bracelet dubbed the Kensington Bracelet by jewelry designer Zofia Day. The delicate $450 bracelet, while specifically made for Meghan's friends, is now available for purchase (which we have a feeling won't last). "It’s an overwhelming honor to be part of history and for my pieces to be given as a keepsake for this momentous occasion," the brand's founder, Lisette Polny, tells the magazine.
Meghan has been a fan of Zofia Day pieces for a while now, most recently wearing a pair of the Dash Ear Studs ($600) for her Vanity Fair cover and a Bar Stack Ring ($715) earlier this year. The California-based brand also designed the Windsor Heart Pendant Necklace ($675) and Charlotte Bow Necklace ($950), which were worn by bridesmaids Rylan and Remi, the daughters of Meghan's close friend Benita Litt. “I have always wanted to create a petite line, and my daughter loves to wear my designs,” Polny tells People. “So I decided to make Benita’s girls some special pieces for their special day.”
