There's definitely a resemblance

Keeping up with the TV royals is getting just as hard as keeping up with the real ones across the pond.

Lifetime has released the first group shot of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Prince William for its highly anticipated upcoming film Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance—and honestly, everyone looks pretty spot-on to their royal counterparts. (Although, admittedly, the resemblance of the faux Harry and Markle is a little more defined.) The drama-loving network decided to go with a casual photo of the quartet for the first image, as evidenced by William (Burgess Abernethy) and Middleton (Laura Mitchell) engrossed in a conversation, with Harry (Murray Fraser) off to the side snuggling up with Markle (Parisa Fitz-Henley). The desserts, criminally, remain untouched, although the group's elegant formalwear more than makes up for it.

As you'd expect from any unofficial film toting its narrative about a new, already-beloved royal couple, Lifetime promises to “examine the history of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from the moment they met after being set up by friends, through their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress.” While the network hasn't given an indication about a release date just yet, shooting is underway on the West Coast and it's expected to be released around the same time of Markle and Harry's actual wedding on May 19.

As for the preparations behind the legit royal wedding, Markle has remained a busy bride-to-be in recent weeks: She reportedly began the month by being baptized into the Church of England, which her future grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, is the head of. Additionally, the royals reportedly let her kick back with her gals at a "mystery five-star resort" as a means of celebrating her bachelorette party in style. Who said she can't have some fun in the meantime?
